Why so many people search for delivery here

The habit is left over from 2022 and 2023, when shops across Pattaya advertised a rider and a phone order the way a pizza place does. What changed is the legal ground under that habit: cannabis flower became a controlled herb, and the government notice now prohibits sale through electronic channels or computer networks and prohibits advertising through all channels. The searches did not disappear with the rule change — they are simply looking for something a licensed shop is no longer allowed to offer.

A shop that still offers it online is telling you something

Some listings and chat accounts still promise to bring flower to a hotel room. That is not a service with a better price attached, it is a business running outside the rule that keeps a licence alive, and you have no way to check what arrives at the door, how it was stored or who sent it. If something goes wrong there is no counter to go back to. The trade-off is not convenience against inconvenience; it is a shop with an address against a stranger with a bag.

Plan the trip instead, it is shorter than it looks

From most of central Pattaya this is a short ride: a baht bus on the fixed loop for the standard fare, a motorbike taxi, or a booked car with the pin loaded. Give the driver Pattaya 13 Alley rather than the shop name — several hundred cannabis shops trade in this city and drivers know the numbered sois, not the signs. Bring your passport and your prescription, because the person buying has to be the person the documents belong to.
